1. Ich möchte eine Auslandsüberweisung durchführen, welche Bankinformationen werden dafür benötigt.

Für eine internationale Banküberweisung benötigen Sie einen SWIFT Code (BIC Code) und einen IBAN Code. Der IBAN Code ist eine internationale Kontonummer und setzt sich meist aus Kontonummer und Bankleitzahl zusammen. Der Aufbau ist abhängig von der jeweiligen IBAN Stuktur des IBAN Landes.

2. Warum besteht ein BIC Code manchmal aus 8 Stellen und manchmal aus 11 Stellen ?


Der 8-stellige BIC Code (SWIFT Code) stellt das Head Office einer Bank da. Meist reicht der 8-stellige Code aus um eine Überweisung durchzuführen. Ein 11-stelliger BIC Code beinhaltet zusätzlich noch die Filiale einer Bank. Fehlt die Filialinformation bei einer Überweisung, werden die fehlenden Stellen durch meist automatischer von Ihr Bank durch XXX ergänzt.
